What is BCOR?
BCOR (Bowel Cancer Outcomes Registry) reports treatment outcomes for patients diagnosed with bowel cancer in Australia and New Zealand.
Bowel cancer is the second commonest cancer in Australia and New Zealand for both genders.
Since 2007 BCOR (formerly BCCA) has collated and analysed treatment outcomes provided to over 48000 patients to help health services, clinicians and patients provide the best possible standard of care and make the best choices around treatment strategies. Participation in the audit is voluntary and patients may opt out at any time.
Over 520 registered contributors
The BCOR collects data from over 520 registered contributors with participation from many public and private hospitals represented throughout Australia and New Zealand.
